Journalist Michael Wolff will tackle Rupert Murdoch and Fox News in a new book coming next month.

Henry Holt is set to publish Wolff’s The Fall: The End of Fox News and the Murdoch Dynasty, the Macmillan imprint announced in a news release. In the book, the press says, “Wolff forecasts the inevitable end of the network as we know it; sooner, rather than later.”

Wolff, the former New York magazine columnist, had a massive bestseller in 2018 with Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, which was sharply critical of the then-president. He followed it up with two more books about the Trump administration, Siege: Trump Under Fire and Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency.

His new book, Holt says, “covers Fox’s war with its own talent, Donald Trump’s campaign against the news channel, and the fight for control within the Murdoch family, all against the ever-quickening pace of the collapse of cable television.”

Wolff announced the news of his book on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, writing, “We're crashing my new book THE FALL: The End of Fox News and the Murdoch Dynasty, Sept 26. It's got the goods: mortal family battle; Trump-Fox war; full story of Tucker's ouster; break-ups; affairs; drunks; Murdoch's obit (Scoop!).”

The Fall is slated for publication on Sept. 26.
